Having provided administrative support to multidisciplinary teams, senior management, and clients such as Brisbane City Council, Shelly brings a wealth of experience to the CTL team.

With a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice and a post graduate law degree (with first class honours), Shelly has an extensive background in family law. So passionate is she about Family Law that she focussed her Honours paper on coercive control and can provide valuable insights when matters involving this topic arise.

Her legal background includes serving as the Volunteer Lawyer Coordinator at Suncoast Community Legal Service (SCLS), where she assisted clients in various legal matters and successfully implemented the Community Outreach Program, providing crucial legal advice sessions across the Sunshine Coast.

During her tenure at the Office of Fair Trading, Shelly honed her administrative skills while mediating disputes and ensuring compliance with Australian Consumer Law. Her experience on high-profile Brisbane City Council projects and at Suncoast Legal Service has equipped her with exceptional interpersonal communication skills and a dedication to maintaining confidentiality while fostering collaborative relationships with stakeholders.

Recognised for her proactive approach and effective time management, Shelly has received accolades such as the Academic Excellence Award at Griffith University, showcasing her outstanding written and oral communication skills.
