Angela Tondelstrand
Angela Tondelstrand is a highly experienced family lawyer and Accredited Specialist, consistently recognised in Doyle’s Guide as a Leading Family Lawyer on the Sunshine Coast. She is also recognised for her expertise in parenting and children’s matters, reflecting her depth of knowledge and strong reputation in this complex area of family law.
Admitted in 2004, Angela has practised almost exclusively in family law and became a Queensland Law Society Accredited Specialist in 2011. She has extensive experience across all areas of family law, including complex property settlements, parenting disputes, financial agreements, child support, and domestic and family violence matters.
Prior to co-founding Catton & Tondelstrand Family Lawyers, Angela was the Co-Practice Group Leader of a large family law division within a national firm. She brings this leadership experience, together with her technical expertise, to guide clients through each stage of their matter with clarity and confidence.
Angela is known for her thoughtful, strategic approach. She works closely with clients to understand their priorities and to navigate the pathway from separation to resolution as efficiently and constructively as possible. She has significant experience resolving matters through negotiation, round table conferences, and mediation, while also providing strong and effective representation in court where required.
